[The PCD activates, showing Touya sitting across from Neku, a look of concentration on his face and several playing cards in his hand. Neku's face is fairly blank; a good example of a poker face. His index finger is moving just slightly on his hand of cards. One of Touya's cat ears flicks a bit.]

Unable to play too?

[Neku chews on his lip. He's nearly glaring at the cards now.]

Yeah. Go again?

[Touya's hand moves to a small stack next to the playing area.]

Flip then.

[Neku's hand moves as well, nodding and flipping his card over. A 7 of clubs. His eyes dart to his hand, and he nearly gets a look of 'You've got to be kidding me'. On the other hand, Touya remains calm, having flipped a Jack of spades. He calmly places down three cards and draws three more.]

...you done yet?

[Neku's hand rests on the pile of cards, waiting for Touya to get done so another one can be flipped. But his expression is slowly losing its blankness, being replaced by frustration. Touya's card pile is getting awfully small...]

...Yes.

[He flips a two of hearts.

Neku flips, and reveals a King of spades. Glancing at his hand, his eyes light up, and he grabs a three card, placing it on the two of hearts. Touya follows that with a two and a Queen on the King. Neku draws another card from his pile, a Jack. He places it on the Queen. Touya daws two cards and places a ten.

Neku draws a card again. This time, he can't do anything. His eyes glance up at Touya, waiting for him to be finished. Touya rearranges his cards before flipping a six of diamonds. Neku flips over a five of spades. He winces, glancing at his hand and sighing in an irritated way. Coincidentally Touya can't move either and their draw piles are gone so he takes one of the two play stacks ans shuffles it before flipping a nine of hearts. Neku takes a stack as well, shuffling it and flipping over an eight of diamonds. He looks at his hand, grabbing a nine and placing it down.

Touya's tail flicks as he places a ten on one nine and an eight and seven on the other. He picks up his last three cards. Neku notices that Touya's pile has been emptied, and he makes a sound under his breath. His own pile still has five cards left. He manages to put a six on the seven and a jack on the ten. Touya waits patiently, ears pricked and tail lazily sweeping the floor.

No good. Even after drawing two more cards, Neku can't place anymore. He looks back up at Touya. Touya flips a King of Spades, immediately placing an Ace. He then waits. Neku pulls a Queen from his hand, but his next draw does nothing for him. He looks back up at Touya.]

I've got nothing.

[Having nothing either, Touya flips a six. Neku flips as well, turning over a four. He pulls a seven from his hand, placing it on the six, and putting a three on the four. His pile is gone now, but Touya is a lot closer to winning.

Touya places a four on the three and an eight on the seven, but has one more four. As long as no threes or fives are placed Neku might win.

Neku grins, pulling a five from his hand and placing it on the four. Touya's hand shoots out, places the last four down with a half-smile. He looks very much like a cat that's caught a large mouse.]

...Speed.

[Neku's eyes go wide, and then he throws his last two cards on the table.]

Crap. Fine. I guess I'll make dinner.
